Project Spotlight: Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary

“We had the pleasure of spending time with Rebekah from Fireseed Films over two days in December. We had a lovely time filming with the animals, capturing the essence of daily life here at the sanctuary and getting some fantastic shots. We think the result is beautiful film which we can take out and about and use to really show what we do here.
On behalf of all here I would like to thank you”

About the sanctuary

Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary is a charity that gives a second chance to animals who would have previously been put down. They cater for cats, pigs, horses, rabbits and even the odd ferret.
Although they have an outstanding space and location, their aim is to rehome the animals in their care.

The passion for the project

During the pre-production and filming process we wanted to bring across the ethos and atmosphere of the sanctuary. Since the aim of the video was to encourage people to visit we wanted to show to authenticity and let the imagery speak for itself.

We filmed over a period of two days capturing interviews and touching moments. It was important not to lose the core values and enthusiasm of the volunteers.

The result

We are incredibly proud of the final product. It has already attracted the attention of a number of online magazines and has made people more aware of the sanctuary and the work they do.

We enjoyed every moment and are thrilled with the success of the video.
